I'm against Stephen Harper's unfair plan to rollback scheduled wage increases for the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.

During uncertain economic times like these, rollbacks will only hurt the families of the men and women who protect our communities.

Instead of fighting crime, Harper's plan will encourage long-standing officers to retire early and drive new recruits away.

Members of the RCMP cannot speak out against this underhanded action, but I can. I support the New Democrats' call to stop the rollbacks.
